Job summary

Divcon Controls in Dallas, TX is seeking a hands-on Control Technician to support DDC/BAS or PLC projects, performing installation verification, startup support, field documentation, and issue escalation under guidance of Senior Technicians.

The role involves travel with per diem and lodging provided. You will start up, commission, and troubleshoot systems (VAV/FCU, AHUs) and work with BACnet, Modbus, and other networks, ensuring drawings and project docs match on-site.

Qualifications

• Hands-on field installation and commissioning experience preferred.
• Familiarity with DDC/BAS or PLC platforms for field support.
• Ability to read drawings, wiring diagrams, and project docs.
• Proficient with basic electrical safety and LOTO requirements.
• Experience with field device wiring and QC documentation.

Responsibilities

• Start up, commission, and re-commission customer systems using DDC/PLC tech.
• Provide troubleshooting support and coordinate with subcontractors and trades.
• Verify installations against drawings and project docs; flag issues.
• Deliver turnkey on-site system delivery for specified sites.
• Document daily work in QC forms and project systems.
