Job summary

Divcon is seeking a hands‑on Control Technician to support DDC/BAS and PLC project work across multiple sites. You will participate in installation verification, startup support, field documentation, and issue escalation under supervision. Regular travel, per diem, lodging, and travel accommodations are provided.

You will work with a team of Senior and Lead Technicians to verify topology, networked systems, and commissioning steps, ensuring quality and safety at all times.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of controls installer experience or related training in HVAC/automation.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems and sequence of operations for point‑to‑point checkout.
• Understanding of low‑voltage control circuits, wiring, and safety requirements.
• Experience with one or more DDC/BAS or PLC platforms such as Tridium Niagara, Delta enteliWEB, Distech, Siemens Desigo, JCI Metasys, Schneider EcoStruxure, or Rockwell Studio 5000.

Responsibilities

• Start up, commission and re‑commission customer systems using DDC or PLC technology.
• Troubleshoot mid‑level system problems and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure proper operation.
• Verify field installation against drawings and project documentation; report discrepancies to supervisors.
