Job summary

Thermo Systems supports clients with technical assistance and field coordination on control system projects and service teams. You will travel to client locations for installations, maintenance, or repairs of control systems, coordinating with project leads and leadership.

Requires 2+ years' industry experience and AVEVA-related knowledge; AVEVA System Platform, Operations Management Interface, and Historian experience are strongly preferred and beneficial for the role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years industry experience.
• AVEVA System Platform and/or Operations Management Interface experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with AVEVA Historian and related AVEVA technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist and be self-sufficient in project installation, start-up and commissioning of control systems.
• Perform instrument loop checks and calibrations.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of control systems.
• Lead and perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
• Wire instruments and control panels.
• Demonstrate basic understanding of HMI and PLC applications.
• Proficient with startup and troubleshooting of HMI and PLC applications.
• Read and interpret piping & instrumentation diagrams and wiring diagrams.
• Document work performed accurately.
• Show basic understanding of control system design and IT/infrastructure as it relates to control system integration.
