Job summary
Thermo Systems is seeking a skilled Control Systems Technician to provide technical support and field coordination for control system projects and service teams. You will travel to client locations for installations, maintenance, or repairs of control systems.
The role requires an associate degree or higher, 2+ years of industry experience, and familiarity with HMI/PLC applications. 100% travel and direct involvement with project leadership are expected.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent in engineering technology or related field.
- Typically 2+ years industry experience.
- Proven track record: 2+ years as control systems technician or equivalent.
- Proficient with HMI and PLC applications.
Responsibilities
- Assist and be self-sufficient in project installation, start-up and commissioning of control systems.
- Perform instrument loop checks and calibrations.
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of control systems.
- Lead and perform FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests).
- Wire instruments and control panels.
- Understand IT system and network aspects related to control system integration.
