Job summary

FieldCore is launching its Field Engineering Program (FEP) as an entry-level pathway. You will be enrolled in the Field Engineering Program (FEP) to develop technical expertise, lean thinking, and leadership skills, with on-the-job trainings and mentoring from experienced TFA’s.

Upon graduation from the FEP, you will be eligible for a TFA Controls position and begin leading control activities on site during installation, commissioning, and maintenance of heavy-duty turbines and equipment.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Strong technical competence in reading and interpreting electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams.
• Understand PLC ladder logic and navigate ladder rungs during troubleshooting.
• Have basic networking and programming knowledge.
• English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety mindset and adhere to GE safety standards.
• Travel extensively to projects and field assignments.
• Work flexible hours including holidays and weekends as required.
• Manage controls activities on-site during installation, commissioning and maintenance of heavy-duty equipment and PLCs.
• Read and interpret P&ID diagrams and related documents.
• Provide timely internal and external reports and technical direction to customers.
• Support OEM packaged products and field operations.
