Job summary

Krauss-Maffei Corporation is seeking a Field Controls Engineer (FLSA: Non-Exempt) to provide technical support, troubleshoot KraussMaffei equipment, and install, repair, and optimize complex systems at customer sites.

The role requires travel to multiple sites, strong PLC and electrical knowledge, and the ability to train customers and mentor other technicians while collaborating with RPM teams on strategic goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• Experience with PLC-based control systems and electrical schematics.
• Familiar with MS Office, Innosoft, Concur, SAP.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and restore function to KraussMaffei equipment.
• Commission equipment and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Create detailed service reports with visit descriptions and costs.
• Provide customer training on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Lead and train junior service staff.
• Plan and lead RPM controls and automation work.
• Collaborate with RPM team on strategy and sales leads.
