Job summary

Bayer offers a summer internship in Agriculture and Controlled Environment, where you will support seed production and gain hands-on experience across greenhouses, growth chambers, laboratories, and field locations in the Midwest.

You will work with researchers, scientists, and engineers, performing SOP-based tasks, data collection, and project support while developing practical skills in plant production and safety.

Qualifications

• Pursuing agriculturally based and/or engineering degree while attending college.
• Strong relationship and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel and learn in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform under supervision in greenhouse and growth chambers per SOPs.
• Conduct basic laboratory work with balances, microscopes, and moisture analysis.
• Maintain greenhouse and equipment, perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
• Data entry using Microsoft Office and Teams.
• Assist in field and lab projects and travel with teams as needed.
