Job summary

The Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority in Rockland Key, FL is seeking a Temporary Construction Worker D to perform semi-skilled work in installation, repair, and maintenance of the Authority's distribution systems. Position reports to the Construction Crew Foreman.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Florida Driver License, and the ability to obtain a Class A CDL within one year of hire. English communication is required and physical labor is expected.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the installation, repair, and/or replacement of the Authority's distribution systems.
• Participates in placement of traffic safety signs at work sites under supervision.
• Performs asphalt road and concrete sidewalk repairs; assists in installation of taps.
• Assists in performing minor chemical tests involving chlorine residuals.
• Maintains trucks, pumps, generators, and related light construction equipment.
• Coordinates with supervisor and colleagues to review work status and resolve issues.
