The Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority is seeking a Temporary Construction Worker D to perform semi-skilled installation, repair, and maintenance of the Authority's distribution system in Rockland Key, FL. The role reports to the Construction Crew Foreman and involves active field duties.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Florida driver's license, and must obtain a Class A CDL with endorsements within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in installation, repair, and/or replacement of the Authority's distribution systems.
• Participates in placement of traffic safety signs at work sites under supervision.
• Performs asphalt road and concrete sidewalk repairs; assists in installing taps.
• Assists in performing minor chemical tests involving chlorine residuals.
• Maintains trucks, pumps, generators, and light equipment; coordinates with crew.
• Communicates with supervisor and others to coordinate work activities.
