Job summary

Veit is seeking a Superintendent/Foreman to lead daily on-site activities, ensuring safety, design integrity, and project schedule adherence. You will directly supervise field personnel and coordinate subcontractors to meet deadlines and quality standards.

The role requires strong communication skills, ability to read plans and specs, and proficiency with MS Office and mobile devices for timely reporting. Union experience and OSHA credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• OSHA 10 hour and safety training credentials preferred.
• Able to read, analyze and interpret plans, specs, and reports.
• Proficient with MS Office and mobile devices for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily site activities, ensuring safety, design, budget, and schedule compliance.
• Manage lead personnel and staff on each project site.
• Schedule and monitor subcontractors to meet the project plan.
• Maintain a safe work environment and communicate safety updates.
• Prepare and participate in meetings and site reporting.
