Job summary

3C Industries, Inc. is seeking a Construction Safety Coordinator to join our field teams in Ohio. You will help implement site-specific safety programs, collaborate with project teams, and monitor conditions to enforce OSHA compliance.

This hands-on role emphasizes real-world safety on active construction sites. The position involves staying up to date on safety standards, documenting incidents, and supporting emergency responses.

Qualifications

• 35 years of experience in a construction safety role or equivalent field/project experience in commercial or industrial construction.
• Current First Aid / CPR certification.
• Completion of OSHA 30-hour Construction training.
• CHST or other BCSP safety credential, or actively working toward certification.
• Experience working on data center projects, including Google or similar hyperscale environments preferred

Responsibilities

• Support Jobsite Safety Operations: assist in implementing and maintaining site-specific safety programs across multiple jobsites.
• Collaborate with Field Operations, Project Management, General Contractors, and trade partners to support safe work practices.
• Monitor Jobsite Conditions: identify hazards, verify mitigation measures, and reinforce OSHA compliance.
• Assist with Incident Documentation: document injuries, incidents, and near misses with timely reports.
• Verify Hazard Assessments: review daily safety paperwork and confirm hazard identification and mitigation planning.
• Conduct Inspections & Audits: complete routine safety inspections and address issues with field leadership.
• Maintain Safety Records: collect and organize safety training records and orientations.
• Participate in Safety Meetings: attend and contribute to site safety meetings and coordination meetings.
• Stay Current on Safety Standards: keep up to date on OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
• Support Emergency Response: assist with emergency response efforts as needed.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Bachelor3 degree in safety or construction management or equivalent
