Job summary

Barnhart-Crane- is seeking a hands-on Project Manager to lead diverse customer projects from award through closeout. You will spend substantial time on job sites, solving problems in real time and staying closely connected to the work.

The role requires field leadership, strong planning skills, and the ability to manage safety, schedule, cost, and customer satisfaction in a dynamic environment. Travel to sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or sufficient field experience.
• Experience meeting essential duties listed.
• PMP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and improvement of the project management team's efficiency.
• Travel to customer sites, participate in site visits and contract reviews.
• Take projects from sales through development into execution with regular communications.
• Coordinate with customers, engineers, vendors, and field crews on design and planning.
• Develop and maintain the overall project schedule and critical path.
• Communicate project status including schedule, budget, risk, quality, and safety.
• Coordinate work crews and scheduling of equipment.
• Travel as needed and manage field leadership; obtain plant access at nuclear and government sites.
