Barnhart-Crane- is seeking a hands-on Project Manager to lead diverse customer projects from award through closeout. You will spend substantial time on job sites, solving problems in real time and staying closely connected to the work.
The role requires field leadership, strong planning skills, and the ability to manage safety, schedule, cost, and customer satisfaction in a dynamic environment. Travel to sites will be required.
About the Job: As a Project Manager, you’ll take the lead on customer projects of a wide variety, including nuclear power sites, from award through closeout, ensuring safety, schedule, profit, and customer satisfaction are always top priorities. You’ll drive the project forward, keeping it on track, on budget, and within scope. This is a hands-on, field-driven role—you will spend significant time on job sites working alongside crews, solving problems in real time, and staying close to the work. Candidates should expect to be actively engaged in the field, not just managing from an office.
Description:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or sufficient experience
Experience: Must have experience enough to meet or exceed the essential duties listed above.
Technical Aptitude:
Administrative Skills: An understanding of construction contracts, Windows based software applications, and good time management skills.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: PMP is preferred.
