Job Description:

Title: Traveling Field Construction Project Manager

Duration: Permanent (FTE)

Type: Remote other than when traveling to oversee projects onsite (Candidates must sit in Kansas City)

Additional Requirements: Travel nationwide 70% of the time (Mon-Fri, with weekends at home)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage construction projects onsite, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Coordinate project planning, resource management, stakeholder communication, and contractor supervision.
• Manage 1-2 projects simultaneously across multiple sites.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 2+ years in construction—commercial remodel, TI, or multi-site rollout.
• Experience with big box retail or QSR/Fast Casual Restaurants.
• Experience with MEP Building Systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
• Experience managing multiple sites and crews.
• Experience with material tracking, daily logs, pre-construction walks, and project closeouts onsite.

Nice to Have:

• OSHA 30 Certification.

Additional Information:

This role requires travel nationwide 70% of the time. Candidates must be comfortable with extensive travel.

Compensation ranges from $65,000 to $80,000 annually, based on skills and experience.
