Corning Incorporated's Advanced Manufacturing Technology group seeks a Construction Project Leader to drive upgrading, installation, commissioning, and startup of optical manufacturing systems. You will lead capital projects ($1M–$15M) across North America and international sites, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality.

Travel to Corning Optical Fiber and Cable Manufacturing sites in NC and overseas locations will be required; you will build cross-functional teams, manage field

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Chemical Engineering.
• 5+ years in leadership/management roles for capital manufacturing equipment projects.
• 4+ years of documented experience with development of Scope of Work documents, Purchase Orders, and vendor management
• 4+ years of documented experience coordinating or leading cross-functional teams
• Advanced degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Chemical Engineering (preferred).
• Optical Fiber manufacturing experience (preferred).
• Software experience: AutoCAD, Inventor, Windows, MS Office suite including Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Project.
• Strong project management skills with experience managing scope, schedule, and budget.
