Job summary

Next150 Construction is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support the project team on-site, coordinating information, logs, RFIs, submittals, and cost reporting. The role sits primarily on the job site with occasional trainings at the office.

You will work with Project Managers, craft scopes of work, manage schedules using CPM techniques, and help maintain quality documentation while building industry relationships.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar field.
• 2–6 years with a large trade contractor or GC organization.
• OSHA 10-hour certification required; OSHA 30-hour preferred.
• Experience with CMiC and Bluebeam is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and distribute project information with the Project Manager.
• Maintain contract document logs and real-time updates of RFIs and submittals.
• Develop scopes of work for bid packages and issue RFQs with trades.
• Update schedules using CPM techniques and track field productivity.
• Prepare cost reports and manage project documentation systems.
• Support field operations with self-perform scope coordination and logistics.
