Job summary

CTL|Thompson, Inc. in Pueblo, CO is seeking an Engineering Technician for full-time employment. Technicians will perform field and laboratory observations, tests, and inspections on various projects, documenting results and reporting daily.

The role includes training, field travel up to 1–3 hours from office, safety compliance, and interaction with project managers, contractors, and design teams. A high school diploma is required; degrees or certifications are welcome, with multiple experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degrees or certifications preferred.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience; 4 years in some cases per role level.
• Certification as applicable to field/lab work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform observations and testing in accordance with industry standards, training, and procedures.
• Document observations and tests results accurately from the field visit.
• Observe drilling operations and obtain samples.
• Generate field reports daily and review data prior to submission.
• Maintain and calibrate assigned equipment.
• Follow safety rules and project-specific policies.
