Job summary

Olsson is hiring a Construction Materials and Testing Technician to collect material samples and perform tests at various construction sites, ensuring quality and safety. You will document results and communicate findings to project managers, supporting informed decisions.

The role involves travel to diverse job sites, working in different terrains and weather, with a company truck, PPE, laptop, and phone reimbursement provided, plus mentorship and paid training opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in construction observation, inspection, testing, or related field.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving history.
• Associate degree preferred but not required; technical degrees accepted.
• ACI Grade 1, ICC Nuclear Gauge, or DOT certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Independently collect construction materials samples from job sites and perform tests.
• Document findings and communicate results to project managers and stakeholders.
