Hillis-Carnes Engineering Associates is seeking a Construction Materials Field Tech/Inspector in South Plainfield, NJ. The role involves field observations, sampling and testing of materials (soil, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, steel), and preparing daily logs of inspections and results.

You will work independently and with staff on land development and construction projects, coordinating with project managers.

Qualifications

• Effective verbal and written communication with project team.
