Job summary

Hillis-Carnes Engineering Associates (HCEA) in South Plainfield, NJ is seeking an ICC Special Inspector/Experienced Construction Materials Field Technician. The role covers field observation, testing, sampling and review of soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, fireproofing and structural steel placement.

Requirements: at least 3 years of relevant experience; ICC certifications in soils, reinforced concrete, masonry, or spray-fired fireproofing; NJ DCA licenses preferred; valid driver's

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• ICC Certifications in at least one category (Soils, Reinforced Concrete, Masonry, Spray-Applied Fireproofing, etc.).
• New Jersey DCA licenses preferred.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to work nights and weekends; reliable vehicle for construction sites.
