Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking a Site Construction Manager to lead on-site field operations at client project sites across the United States. This role requires hands-on oversight of safety, quality control, scheduling, and customer relations, with 100% field work on heavy industrial projects.

The Site Construction Manager I will represent the company on site, oversee subcontractors, ensure drawings and specifications are followed, and coordinate with the Project

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus twelve (12) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline; at least three (3) years in supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversees subcontractors and construction to ensure work is safe, correct, and meets quality control measures.
• Ensures work adheres to the project schedule; escalate delays to PM.
• Writes Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review.
• Takes progress photos and labels each photograph.
• Prepares Monthly Progress Reports.
• Prepares contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Maintains on-site records per CDM Smith document control requirements.
• Communicates project issues clearly and professionally to management and clients.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Associate degree + 9 years experience

Bachelor’s degree + 6 years experience
