Job summary

Wire 3 is seeking a Construction Manager in Melbourne, FL to lead field operations, safety, and project execution across assigned market segments. You will supervise crews, coordinate utilities, and ensure timely delivery within budget while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3–5 years of OSP experience with increased responsibility.
• Familiarity with safety, production generation, cost containment and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe work practices and implement company safety programs for all personnel.
• Oversee OSP-E direct reports and manage day-to-day construction operations.
• Use tracking systems to measure crew productivity and address gaps.
• Coordinate with Utility Coordinator for locates to maintain workflow.
• Manage relationships with internal/external locating teams and public works officials.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local agencies, subcontractors and vendors.
• Prepare site surveys, estimates, budgets, and proposals for underground-to-aerial placements.
• Provide project docs and reports to Regional Management as required.
• Supervise office staff and conduct performance appraisals.
• Review weekly payroll and equipment reports submitted by OSP-E.
• Manage equipment fleet, maintenance schedules, and utilization.
• Oversee procurement and application of tools for efficiency.
