Job summary

Broaddus Construction seeks a hands-on Project Manager / Field Construction Representative to lead commercial and K-12 projects in the McAllen / Rio Grande Valley area. You will be on-site daily, monitor trades, manage RFIs/submittals, and ensure field work aligns with the master schedule.

Responsibilities include coordinating with architects/engineers, onboarding trades, and providing data-backed updates in progress meetings. A 3–7+ year track record, OSHA 30, and U.S.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of direct construction management or owner’s representative experience on commercial or K-12 projects.
• OSHA 30 certification required (or willingness to obtain prior to hire).
• Valid driver’s license and legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and MEP schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a daily on-site presence to monitor trade progress and ensure field execution aligns with plans and schedule.
• Manage submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and field data from the job trailer with architect/engineer coordination.
• Assist with trade partner onboarding, scope reviews, and daily communication to resolve field conflicts.
• Coordinate third-party testing agencies and required municipal inspections; track field changes and site photos.
• Represent Broaddus in progress meetings with clients, owner reps, and project leadership.
