Job summary

Flint Hills Resources Pipeline and Terminals is seeking an Inspector/Construction Manager to lead on-site cleaning, inspection, and repair projects for storage tanks and pipeline stations, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective execution.

You will coordinate contractor activities, enforce safety and environmental expectations, develop detailed work plans and procedures, administer daily permits, and provide quality control to meet drawings and specs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in project planning and jobsite safety management in industrial settings.
• Experience with API 650 tank construction.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel 75–90%.
• Able to meet physical requirements and work in field environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute project plans safely, responsibly, and cost-effectively.
• Support cleaning, inspection, and repair of tanks and related equipment.
• Develop written work plans and procedures for site execution.
• Administer daily safe work permits and set risk mitigation expectations.
• Provide in-field quality control to align with drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with teams, contractors, and site personnel for timely execution.
• Maintain turnover docs: red-lines, OQ records, inspections, changes.
