Job summary

Flint Hills Resources Inspector/Construction Manager is seeking an on-site leader to manage cleaning, inspection, and repair of storage tanks and pipeline stations in Texas. You will drive safe, compliant, and cost-effective execution across field teams with substantial travel and long hours.

The role requires 80% field time, coordinating contractors, issuing safe-work permits, and maintaining turnover documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in project planning, jobsite safety management, contractor coordination and oversight.
• Experience with API 650 tank construction.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willing to travel up to 75-90%, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical requirements to perform field work.

Responsibilities

• Execute project plans and ensure safe, cost-effective completion.
• Support cleaning, inspection and repair of storage tanks and equipment.
• Develop detailed written work plans and procedures for site execution.
• Administer daily safe work permits and set expectations around hazards.
• Provide quality control to ensure drawings and specs are met.
• Coordinate with teams, contractors and site personnel for safe, timely execution.
• Maintain project turnover docs including redlines, OQ records and change requests.
• Spend at least 80% of time in the field including nights, weekends, and travel.
