Job summary

BLHI is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the Sr. Project Superintendent in field supervision of construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with contract documents.

You will direct craft personnel and subcontractors, schedule daily work, monitor progress, maintain QC/QA files, and participate in progress meetings while upholding BLHI values. Responsibilities include enforcing safety policies, reading construction documents, and coordinating with teams to meet

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience as an assistant superintendent with 3 years total construction experience.
• Experience in construction management, commercial/hospitality, buildings and infrastructure.
• Degree in Construction Management, engineering, or comparable degree.
• Experience managing project budgets, developing and maintaining schedules, and owner relationships.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be open to relocation.

Responsibilities

• Support Sr. Project Superintendent with day-to-day field supervision of construction activities.
• Enforce safety policies and direct craft personnel and subcontractors.
• Schedule and sequence daily work and ensure safety, cost, schedule, quality and process goals are met.
• Develop, procure and enforce safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain QC/QA files and update as-built drawings; attend progress meetings.
• Monitor progress and ensure compliance with contract documents and standards.
