Job summary

JPI is seeking a Lead Assistant Superintendent to oversee field construction across multifamily projects. You will coordinate framing, roofing, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing work, ensuring safety and quality while managing subcontractors and inspections.

Ideal candidates have 6–10 years in multi-family construction, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and strong experience with Procore and SWPPP practices. This role offers a competitive salary and growth within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 6–10 years in construction with supervisory experience.
• Minimum 5 years multi-family construction; 150+ unit projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations and ensure safety, SWPPP, and quality standards.
• Coordinate subcontractor work, scheduling, mobilization, and deliveries.
• Manage city and 3rd party inspections; document QA ins consistently.
• Create and maintain schedules; manage RFI responses and meetings.
• Act as Superintendent when unavailable; close out projects.
