Job summary

Nabholz Construction Services is looking for an experienced Lead Service Craftsperson to plan, supervise and execute construction projects for commercial spaces. You will lead craft teams, manage materials, equipment, and subcontractors while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The role emphasizes coordinating with office and field personnel, maintaining client relations, and upholding Nabholz policies and ethics.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities.
• Completion of formal apprenticeship program or equivalent training.
• Ability to manage project schedules including change orders and personnel changes.
• Ability to work in noisy and hot or cold environments.
• Employees are expected to fulfill list of required hand tools within 60 days of employment.
• Ability to work outside normal hours and respond to 24x7 emergency calls as needed.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; foster a cooperative work environment.
• Work indoors and outdoors; may climb rooftops for installation/repair.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise all aspects of the job including construction methods, manpower, materials and equipment.
• Maintain liaison with owner, engineers, project manager, subcontractors to ensure compliance with drawings and schedule.
• Maintain productive relationships with clients and assist in resolving problems.
• Set up and operate woodworking tools; erect/dismantle structures and perform repairs.
• Install wood/metal parts, roofing, siding, framing, drywall and painting touchups.
