Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• VDOT experience or certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs field inspections of construction and maintenance projects and existing roadways, structures and facilities.
• Conducts tests on soils, asphalt, concrete, aggregates, bituminous products, metal products and industrial coatings.
• Maintains daily inspection reports and submits documentation.
• Travels across the state and may work night shifts as required.
• Participates in on-site meetings and coordinates with the Project Engineer and Contractors.
