Job summary

CTL Engineering is seeking Technicians for Construction Inspection Services to support ODOT projects. You will perform earthwork, concrete, asphalt inspection and testing, and assist engineers in field investigations across northeastern OH with some travel.

The role emphasizes quality control, documentation, and collaboration with municipal clients. A strong commitment to safety and accuracy is essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

0-2+ years experience in construction inspection and testing.
Familiarity with highway construction specifications and field experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform construction engineering technician (inspection) services related to earthwork, concrete, asphalt and utility construction.
Perform engineering and construction field testing primarily roadway/bridge projects.
Inspect and report on concrete pours, rebar placement, pipe replacements as examples.
Inspect and sample construction materials.
Prepare and maintain project records and reports.
May assist with notifying the Contractor or the Project Engineer of non-conforming work.
