Job summary

Consor seeks a Construction Inspector to monitor on-site activities, inspect materials, and ensure compliance with plans, specs, and contract documents for excavations, drainage facilities, roads, and structures. You will report to the project administrator and coordinate with the contractor’s superintendent and agency personnel.

Responsibilities include field measurements, daily production rate reporting, and scheduling inspection phases.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of construction inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Obtain any required certifications and pass appropriate qualifications tests for the position in specified time frames.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• This field job operates in outdoor environments with varying weather and physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, observe, document, and verify work in progress for compliance with schedule and plans.
• Perform mathematical calculations and measurements of completed work.
• Maintain daily inspector reports on activities, labor, and materials.
• Perform on-site material testing and produce as-built sketches as required.
