Job summary

Must be able to perform field inspections, document results, and operate in variable weather, with occasional night shifts. Candidates should have 0-2 years of construction-related experience, a Highschool/GED, and the ability to read plans, perform basic math, and produce daily reports.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in construction.
• Highschool/GED required.
• Ability to understand construction plans, specifications, and procedures.
• Demonstrate basic math skills, including geometry and trigonometry.
• Possess the ability to read, write, and communicate fluently.
• Work effectively as a team member and complete daily reports by hand and computer.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and timely reports documenting construction progress, inspection, and testing results.
• Record and report daily forms per project requirements.
• Review all work for completeness and accuracy prior to submission.
• Maintain records, measure field quantities, conduct field tests to determine contractor compliance.
• Submit accurate timesheets, mileage, and expense reports weekly.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, staff, and supervisors to resolve issues.
