Job summary

Candidates should have 0–2 years of experience, basic math and plan-reading skills, and the ability to document work clearly. Valid driver’s license and ability to work in varied weather conditions are required.

Qualifications

• Must have 0-2 years of experience in construction inspection or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and procedures.
• Demonstrates basic math skills including geometry and trigonometry.
• Able to read, write and communicate fluently.
• Works well in a team and can complete daily reports by hand and on a computer.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed, timely reports documenting construction progress, inspection, and testing results.
• Record and report daily forms per project requirements.
• Review work for completeness and accuracy prior to submission.
• Maintain records, measure field quantities, conduct field tests to verify contractor compliance.
• Submit accurate timesheets, mileage, and expense reports weekly.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, staff, and supervisors.
• Resolve issues at the lowest level.
• Perform field inspection and documentation on various projects; ensure safety and adherence to OSHA standards.
