KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Construction Inspector 2 to work independently on less complex construction activities and assist experienced inspectors on more complex projects.

The role requires field inspections, detailed documentation, and adherence to safety standards across roadway and bridge work in Orangburg, SC. Qualifications include 0-2 years of experience, a high school diploma or GED, basic math skills, and the ability to read and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; ability to understand plans and procedures.
• Strong math skills including geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently; report daily observations.
• Team player with ability to complete daily reports by hand and on computer.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass required certifications.

Responsabilités

• Prepare detailed reports documenting construction progress and field testing results.
• Record daily forms and ensure accuracy before submission.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, staff, and supervisors.
• Perform field inspection and documentation on various highway and bridge projects.
• Review safety and adherence to OSHA standards and contract specs.
