Qualifications

• Two applicable certifications are required.
• Degree plus experience options accommodate different education paths.
• If no degree, four years of relevant experience suffices.

Responsibilities

• Inspect Transportation Construction Projects to ensure plans, proposals, and specs are followed.
• Perform key measurements and calculations for accuracy.
• Prepare As-Built documentation and plot cross sections.
• Conduct materials testing to meet quality standards.
• Record inspection activities in detailed reports.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and environments.
• Be prepared for heavy lifting and manual tasks.
• Travel across the state visiting construction sites as needed.
• Take ownership and work with minimal supervision.
• Expect flexible hours and occasional overnight stays.
