Responsibilities Include

• Inspect Transportation Construction Projects: Ensure all work and materials meet project plans, proposals, and specifications.
• Perform Key Measurements & Calculations: Verify weights, volumes, and measurements to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare “As‑Built” Documentation: Plot and run cross sections, and document project progress.
• Conduct Materials Testing: Ensure materials meet quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Daily Documentation: Record all inspection activities and findings in detailed reports.
• Work Outdoors: Enjoy the variety of working in different weather conditions and environments.
• Physical Responsibilities: Be prepared for heavy lifting and manual tasks as part of the inspection process.
• Travel Across the State: Visit construction sites across the state, ensuring every project is up to code.
• Independent Work: Take ownership of your tasks and work with minimal supervision.
• Flexible Hours & Travel: Expect extended hours and occasional overnight stays as part of the role.

A valid driver’s license is required.

The successful candidate will hold at least two applicable certifications, and one of the following:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field.
• -OR- An Associate’s Degree in Construction Management or related field AND two (2) years of relevant experience.
• -OR- If no degree, at least four (4) years of relevant experience.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have Any/all Of The Following
