Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. is seeking motivated Construction Inspectors to join our West Virginia team from our Martinsburg area and other WV locations.

The role focuses on field inspections of bridges, roads, canals, and utilities with a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and collaboration across the project team. The ideal candidate has prior inspection experience, a WV TRE T certification (or the ability to obtain within 6 months), and familiarity with SiteManager/ProjectWise.

Qualifications

• Must possess a WV TRE T certification (any Level 1–5) or obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Previous construction inspection experience.
• Familiarity with WVDOH SiteManager and ProjectWise applications is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily field inspections and observations of contractor work for heavy highway and/or bridge construction projects.
• Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and standards.
• Document daily project progress, including work performed and conformance with plans.
• Enter and record project progress and documentation into SiteManager and ProjectWise.
• Identify and communicate project issues to project managers and contractors.
