Job summary

ENGEO is seeking a Special Inspector in California to perform a range of field inspections at active project sites, including reinforced steel, concrete placement, post-tensioned concrete, structural steel, and fireproofing. You will document test results daily using company tablets and stay connected with project teams.

Requirements include ACI and ICC certifications, a high school diploma (college coursework a plus), a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be drug-free with a good driving record.
• Strong computer skills for daily reports and data entry.
• Ability to safely transport up to 50 lbs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections including reinforced steel, concrete placement, post-tensioned concrete, structural steel bolting and welding, and fireproofing inspections.
• Document inspections and test results daily using company tablets.
• Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, city agents, and project managers to ensure quality and safety.
