Job summary

The Erosion Company (TEC) in Charleston, SC, is seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to lead field crews and keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule. You’ll coordinate equipment, materials, and manpower while performing hands-on work when needed.

Ideal candidates have foreman or crew leadership experience and erosion control know-how, with a background in construction, landscaping, grading or site work.

Qualifications

• Previous Foreman or crew leadership experience (as required).
• Erosion control experience strongly preferred.
• Construction, landscaping, grading, or site work experience.
• Ability to operate around heavy equipment and construction crews.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Reliable, safety focused, and ready to work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily field crews
• Coordinate equipment, materials, and manpower
• Keep projects on schedule and maintain quality standards
• Promote a safe and productive work environment
• Perform hands on work when needed
• Communicate with project managers and field leadership
• Help oversee erosion control, grassing, landscaping, grading, and site work
