Job summary

Stimulus Technologies is a growth-stage broadband company delivering fiber deployments across Missouri and surrounding states. The Construction Manager will supervise field teams, coordinate with the engineering firm, and ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, deep OSP fiber construction knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple sites with direct accountability to the VP of Engineering and Project Management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in OSP telecom or fiber optic construction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of OSP fiber construction including aerial, underground, and buried plant installation.
• Ensure construction activities comply with project plans, specifications, permits, and codes.
• Conduct regular site visits to verify quality, safety, and timelines.
• Manage contractor performance and enforce contract terms and workmanship standards.
• Review contractor pay applications, change orders, and closeout documentation.
• Coordinate with Permitting Manager to secure required permits before construction.
• Identify and resolve field conflicts and design discrepancies with the engineering firm.
• Monitor budgets and forecasts; escalate risks to the VP of Engineering.
• Ensure all as-built documentation is accurate and delivered on schedule.
