Job summary

Hoar Construction is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the superintendent across multiple project areas. You will monitor schedules and budgets, coordinate with subcontractors, and help ensure safety and quality on site.

Travel up to 100% may be required. Responsibilities include inspections, document reading, and maintaining project reports while building strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of construction experience or college construction graduate.
• Knowledge of scheduling, cost control and safety procedures.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring the project schedule and budget with the superintendent.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to discuss progress and remove obstacles.
• Coordinate inspections and ensure safety and quality of work.
• Read construction documents to plan procedures.
• Maintain project records and generate reports on personnel and progress.
• Represent Hoar Construction in site meetings and communicate with stakeholders.
• Assist in managing workforce and clearly convey goals to crews.
