Responsibilities

• Assist with material deliveries, shortages, and returns.
• Track projects from installation through completion.
• Support warranty requests, punch lists, and final inspections.
• Help resolve jobsite issues and maintain company standards.

Job Description

Roof Depot is hiring a Field Construction Assistant to support our Homebuilder Solutions team in Jacksonville, Florida.

This position is designed for someone who wants to build a career in construction, take ownership of their work, and develop into a future Field Construction Manager.

You will spend your days visiting active residential construction sites, working alongside experienced field managers, and supporting roofing and siding operations.

Whether you are beginning your career or looking for a career change, we are interested in dependable individuals with strong communication skills, a good work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

Construction experience is a plus, but not required.

What You Will Do

Support daily construction operations across multiple residential jobsites.

Communicate with builders, subcontractors, and field managers.

Assist with scheduling and coordinating installation crews.

Perform quality control and safety inspections.

Document installation progress and identify potential issues.

Assist with material deliveries, shortages, and returns.

Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
