Humphreys & Partners Architects is seeking a Construction Administrator to support our Western Region job sites (CA, AZ, NV, CO). Based in Denver, CO, this role requires at least 25% travel to project sites and focuses on ensuring construction aligns with contract documents and design intent.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in architecture or related field, 4–10 years of experience, and strong communication skills to coordinate with owners and contractors throughout

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4-10 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of architectural/construction terminology and building codes.
• Ability to communicate, negotiate, and resolve disputes.
• Willingness to travel 25% to project sites.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Interpret contract documents and track progress of work.
• Observe construction for conformity to contract documents.
• Establish open communication between owner, contractor, and project staff.
• Review payment requests and change orders for validity.
• Prepare field reports and close non-conforming observations.
• Coordinate travel to assigned job sites.
• Maintain favorable relationships with clients and contractors.
• Review submittals and RFIs.
• Assist in closing out completed projects.
• Report on construction issues with design team.
