Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Construction Technician to support concrete repair, demolition, and strengthening projects on commercial sites. This field role involves outdoor work, travel to multiple job sites around Denver and Colorado, and a focus on safety and high-quality workmanship.

Based in Lakewood, CO, this contract-to-hire position emphasizes hands-on carpentry, formwork, rebar installation, waterproofing, and coordination with team members on demanding projects.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of commercial construction experience preferred.
• Experience in concrete repair, surface prep, patching, and restoration.
• Experience with concrete demolition and safe operation of jackhammers.
• Ability to perform concrete placement and finishing including pours and leveling.
• Knowledge of formwork and carpentry related to concrete construction.

Responsibilities

• Perform concrete repair on commercial structures including surface preparation and restoration.
• Carry out concrete demolition using jackhammers and demolition tools safely.
• Assist with concrete placement and finishing like pours and level surfaces.
• Support strengthening activities and install reinforcement systems.
• Build, install, and remove formwork to support pours and repairs.
• Apply coatings, sealants, and waterproofing per specs.
• Travel to multiple job sites around Denver and Colorado.
