Job summary

STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES is seeking a dedicated construction laborer to support field operations at project sites. You will perform concrete-related tasks, operate various hand-held and powered tools, and assist with form work, scaffold setup, and site cleanup.

A strong safety mindset and the ability to work extended hours at heights are essential. This on-site role requires working 50–55 hours per week, including night shifts and occasional out-of-town assignments, with 100% project-site

  • Operate hand-held air, electric and hydraulic powered and non-powered tools, and more complex equipment such as swing scaffolds, epoxy pumps, air compressors, jack-hammers, drills, etc.
  • Tend machines that pump concrete, grout, cement, sand, plaster, or stucco through spray guns for application to ceilings and walls.
  • Mix cement, sand, and water to produce concrete, grout, or slurry; build wooden forms and clamp them around areas to be repaired.
  • Position forms for pouring concrete, dismantle forms after use, and place, consolidate, and protect concrete or masonry structures.
  • Water surfaces to prepare for bonding, fill holes and cracks with grout or slurry, spread, level, and smooth concrete using appropriate tools.
  • Clean, coat, seal, waterproof, or restore concrete surfaces; chip, scrape, grind, sand, or polish spots and ridges.
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, or other fixtures in freshly poured concrete; stamp surfaces for decorative finishes.
  • Mold expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointers, and straightedges.
  • Erect and disassemble scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic, barricades, ramps, and other temporary structures.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of vehicles and equipment, lubricate, clean and repair machinery, equipment and tools, and account for all tools and light equipment.
  • Identify, pack, and transport hazardous materials, operate, read, and maintain air monitoring and other sampling devices, decode plans and specifications, load/unload materials and equipment, clean and prepare construction sites, control traffic, and measure and record openings and distances for construction work.
