5 Structural Technologies, LLC seeks a construction field technician to perform advanced structural strengthening, repair, and post‑tensioning across multiple projects. You will work daily on concrete repair tasks, rebar placement, and formwork in both new construction and existing buildings, with a focus on safety and quality.

The position requires lifting up to 50 lbs, working >40 hours weekly, and travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Experience as a construction field technician or laborer.
• Comfortable with concrete repair, formwork, finishing, grouting, and rebar placement/tying.
• Familiarity with post‑tensioning system installation or stressing (preferred).
• Experience working in new construction and existing buildings.
• Ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Fluency in English; bilingual Spanish/English considered a plus.
• Valid driver’s license, own transportation, and a clean DMV record.
• Willingness to work > 40 hours per week and advance within the company.
• Preferably a union ironworker or rodbuster able to work on union or open‑shop projects.
• Prior post‑tensioning experience is ideal but not required.
• Pre‑employment drug screen required; criminal record permitted to apply.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside a Foreman/Superintendent to execute daily tasks.
• Perform general concrete repair: demolition, rebar installation, carpentry, concrete pours, and finishing.
• Operate power tools such as rotary hammers, chipping hammers, and hammer drills.
• Carry out post‑tension repair, rebar/post‑tension installation, and stressing.
• Travel independently between projects.
• Focus on safety, using standard PPE at all times.
