Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking a Compressor Mechanic to operate in the Bakken region (Williston, Tioga, and Alexander). The role requires performing maintenance, analysis, and troubleshooting of compression equipment while keeping precise records and ensuring safe operations.

Candidates should have 2+ years of related experience or relevant schooling, a valid driver’s license, and be prepared for overtime and on-call duties. Pre-employment testing is required.

Qualifications

• Driver's license and clean MVR required.
• Pass pre-employment D&A screening and background check.
• Ability to work outdoors and alone.
• Willingness to work overtime and respond to callouts during scheduled workdays.
• 2+ years of applicable work experience and/or secondary schooling including certificate, associate, or bachelor degree.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operations in a safe manner.
• Perform engine and compression oil analysis.
• Keep detailed and accurate records.
• Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot compression packages.
• Maintain pumps, motors, engines, turbines, generators, and other rotating/ fixed field equipment.
• Coordinate and perform mechanical maintenance and repairs.
