Job summary

Total Safety in Texas is seeking a Communications Technician II to service and repair communications equipment, including Motorola two-way radios and related systems.

You will perform shop and field work, assist in installs, and ensure proper inspection documentation for invoicing. Training will cover safety equipment and job briefs.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED and at least two years in communications, with preferred technical training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and at least two years of field experience in communications or related industry.
• Associates degree or technical/military training preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA and relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform shop service and field repair of communications equipment including Motorola radios and complete radio systems.
• Lead technician or senior worker on complex radio assignments.
• Document inspection and repair for invoicing and customer signature.
