Job summary

Kelso Building Services is seeking HVAC Preventative Maintenance Technicians for our Houston, TX operations. This full-time field role focuses on maintaining commercial and industrial HVAC systems across a variety of building types.

You’ll perform scheduled maintenance, diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, read wiring diagrams, and maintain thorough service records. A high school diploma or equivalent, HVAC training or certification, and EPA 608 are preferred, plus a valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC training or certification preferred.
• 1+ years in HVAC Maintenance or Service role.
• Solid understanding of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and mechanical components.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems.
• Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical issues across platforms.
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer docs.
• Provide clear service findings and next steps to clients and team.
• Maintain thorough service records of work and parts used.
• Work safely and in compliance with codes and company policy.
