Job summary

Kelso Industries in Houston, TX is seeking HVAC Preventative Maintenance Technicians for our field operations. This full-time role maintains commercial and industrial HVAC systems across a variety of building types.

You will complete scheduled maintenance, read schematics, identify issues, and keep thorough service records while following safety standards. Applicants should have a high school diploma or HVAC training, 1+ year experience, and a valid driver’s license enabling travel to job sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC training or certification preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in HVAC maintenance or service.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation; strong problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled maintenance and inspections to keep systems running efficiently.
• Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical issues across HVAC platforms.
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer documentation.
• Keep clients and team informed on service findings and recommended next steps.
• Maintain thorough service records covering work completed, parts used, and system conditions.
• Perform all work in compliance with safety standards, applicable codes, and company policy.
